2021 FAMILY CAMPING INFORMATION

Cal-Wood has opened its doors to families and small groups eager to spend time outside together and support Cal-Wood during these uncertain times.

Families enjoyed a peaceful and secluded camping experience on our private land located 40 minutes from Boulder.

Each of the 6 campsites available are very secluded from each other and allow for safe, social distancing. CDC guidelines and state/local requirements will be followed.

Due to COVID-19, we will be unable to serve thousands of kids through our summer camps and outdoor education programs until further notice. Our goal is to raise $55,000 to continue operations so that Cal-Wood will remain steady and strong into the future serving our children and families with a love and appreciation for the outdoors.

FUNDRAISER DETAILS

Since 1982, Cal-Wood has provided environmental and science/outdoor education and summer camp experiences to thousands of kids and adults. Our mission is to connect children and families to our beautiful Colorado mountains and many of those we serve are under-resourced community members who have not had the opportunity to spend an overnight in the woods. Cal-Wood offers 9 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, fishing ponds, spectacular views, flower-filled meadows, creeks, small waterfalls, wildlife, and a historic homestead.

EACH PRIVATE CAMPSITE INCLUDES:

- Outhouse
- Space for 2 tents
- Space for 2 cars
- 1 pet allowed
